LivLikeAUnicorn 3rd Annual Butterfly Gala Recap
On September 19, 2026, LivLikeAUnicorn hosted its 3rd Annual Butterfly Gala, bringing together community members and business leaders for an evening focused on raising awareness and support for children with cancer and their families.
Mirrored Memories was proud to be part of the night, providing both our event photography experience and our photo booth rental. From formal group photos in front of the sponsor backdrop to branded event images guests could receive and share, the photography became part of the experience throughout the evening.
Supporting the LivLikeAUnicorn Foundation
LivLikeAUnicorn is a New Jersey-based pediatric cancer nonprofit that supports children with cancer and their families in several important ways.
Their work includes financial assistance, hospital partnerships, family experiences, and their nationwide Unicorn Club care package program. The organization also supports pediatric brain cancer research.
The Butterfly Gala gave supporters, community members, and local businesses an opportunity to come together around that mission while helping raise awareness and funds for the families LivLikeAUnicorn serves.
A Night Built Around Community and Support
The Butterfly Gala had a formal setting, but the atmosphere throughout the evening was warm and social.
Guests gathered in front of the sponsor step-and-repeat for photos, groups came together throughout the night, and the custom Butterfly Gala branding helped tie the photography experience into the event itself.
The butterfly details, LivLikeAUnicorn logo, sponsor backdrop, and custom event frame gave every photo a clear connection to the evening rather than making the images feel like generic event photography.
Mirrored Memories’ Event Photography Experience
Along with the photo booth, Mirrored Memories provided event photography designed to capture guests throughout the gala.
Capturing Guests Throughout the Evening
We photographed couples, groups of friends, business attendees, and larger groups as they came together during the event.
The goal was simple: give guests polished photos from the evening that they could actually keep, share, and look back on after the gala ended.
That also meant capturing a mix of smaller portraits and larger group moments instead of relying on one type of event photo.
Custom Event Branding
The finished photography included custom branding created specifically for the Butterfly Gala.
The event frame featured the Liv Like a Unicorn logo, gold butterfly graphics, “The 3rd Annual Butterfly Ball,” the September 19, 2026 event date, and Mirrored Memories branding.
Those details helped make the photos feel like part of the event itself.
Instead of simply receiving a portrait, guests received an image that documented where they were, what they were supporting, and the event they were part of.
Photo Booth Entertainment During the Gala

Mission Dance Band provided the evening’s entertainment and helped keep the energy going as guests danced and enjoyed the gala.
